Leg Group

Celeste, Helen, Leo, and Noah worked on building the leg for the skeleton. Here is what they learned.

We learned the femur, tibia, fibula, and the knee cap make up the bones in the leg. The ball and socket rotate and connect to the pelvic gridle. We used a hinge joint to connect the femur to the tibia and fibula.

The most challenging part of making the leg putting the ball and socket in place and screwing the hooks into the ends into the leg that will connect the leg to the foot.
