News From the Forest

News from the Forest Class Teachers:
  • We loved our time talking with you about your child during conferences. We enjoy spending each day with your children!
  • Mark your calendars - the Forest Class presents our Mongolian Museum on Tuesday, March 20th from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Our classroom will be transformed into a museum with exhibits created by our Forest Class students presenting their research and artifacts about Mongolia. We hope you can make it!
  • This Friday we begin a round of Discover Groups focused around our Afghan sister school. Over the next two Fridays, students will be participating in small groups where they will learn about crafts and activities from Afghan. On the third Friday we will have an Afghan Bazaar to celebrate all of the things we have learned.
This weeks Ranger is Zoe.
This week's Ranger is Zoe. She is eight-years-old. She was born in Durham. Her family includes her mom, her dad, and her two brothers. For pets she has one cat and one dog. The thing she most likes to do when she is at home is read. If you were stranded on an island alone, Zoe would want to have food with her. Her favorite food is rice. Her least favorite food is brussel sprouts. Her hobbies are collecting crystals and Silly Bands. When she goes on vacation she most likes to go to Topsail Beach. Zoe's dream vacation would be to go to Topsail Beach and stay in a really tall house that she likes. When she grows up, she wants to be an artist.
